Our Story
North Sound Remodel was founded in 2022 by Dylan Axelson, a Pacific Northwest native who spent the better part of a decade in construction and project management on the Eastside before striking out on his own. Dylan grew up in the Seattle area and watched the Eastside transform through tech-driven growth and rising home values. He knew the market intimately — both the homes and the homeowners.
Before founding North Sound Remodel, Dylan worked as a project manager overseeing kitchen and bathroom renovations across King and Snohomish Counties. He ran projects from the planning phase through final inspections and developed a frustration that he heard echoed by homeowners constantly: remodeling should be straightforward, but too many contractors made it unnecessarily stressful. Bids that ballooned. Crews that disappeared mid-project. Communication that went dark for days at a time. Dylan decided to build something different.
